Glass of red wine with chocolates. February is the month of romance, so pick up your sweetie and indulge your love in wine & chocolate tastings every weekend in February at Chaddsford Winery. Held in The Vintner’s House, the country estate on the winery property, our team of wine educators will lead you through a sit-down tasting of premium Chaddsford wines paired with premium gourmet chocolates. $20; by reservation only at 1:00, 2:30 or 4 p.m. Call 610-388-6221 to reserve your space.

This year’s tastings will feature chocolates from Lindt Chocolates paired with the following Chaddsford wines:

  • Proprietor’s Reserve White paired with a White Chocolate Truffle
  • Pinot Noir paired with Swiss Premium Chocolate Dark Chocolate Cherry Almond Bar
  • Merican paired with Passion Caramel & Sea Salt Bar
  • Sunset Blush paired with a Strawberry Sorbetto Truffle
  • Sangria paired with an Orange Truffle AND an Orange Sorbetto Truffle
  • Niagara paired with Excellence Chili Bar

Mardi Gras “Get Your Beads On”

Wine bottle wrapped in colored beads. To celebrate Mardi Gras for every bottle of wine purchased we will give you a set of brightly colored beads on any or all of these days. So get your beads on people and stock up on some great wine!

LOCATION: Winery in Chadds Ford, Chester County, PA

Winery visitor tasting wine. Four Weekends, Barrels of Fun! Come and visit as we open the cellars for this Brandywine Valley Wine Trail passport event. This event, sponsored by the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail, includes tastings and special events at the member vineyards and wineries along the Wine Trail in southern Chester County, PA. Pick up a passport, ($30)which is good for admission to all member wineries, and get to know your local wine scene! Get details and schedules of special events at www.bvwinetrail.com .

We will be holding a special Library Wine Tasting in the cellar of Cellar Master Jim’s “Gems” from the wine library. These wines were kept in the wine library for winery special events and parties and include outstanding wines from outstanding vintages. The wines you taste will be available for purchase and there may even be big bottles (3L, 6L, 9L) of the same wines available for purchase. Big bottles are great for your own special party or for a gift for someone special. For some wines there are very limited supplies and this tasting will vary each weekend in March based on what “gems” Jim pulls from the Library each week. Sure to be a fun and interesting tasting!
