"Pierre Noir" To Be Unveiled By WMMR & Chaddsford Winery

Pierre and guests enjoying grape stomp.WMMR's Pierre Roberts and guest stomping grapes.Following the phenomenal success of last year's "Pierreno Grigio," Chaddsford Winery and Philadelphia's WMMR are again joining forces with the release of a red wine named for the station's celebrity personality and longtime Philadelphian Pierre Robert. "Pierre Noir" was conceived last fall, during the harvest season, when Robert traveled to the winery to personally stomp the arriving Pinot Noir grapes.

Now the wine is bottled, and Pierre has planned a rockin' release party at the winery on April 3 to introduce "Pierre Noir"to his followers. WMMR listeners will be invited to attend this special wine & cheese party as Pierre's guests thru a series of on-air contests beginning March 23. Watch for more details at www.wmmr.com!

Pierre Noir is a medium-bodied red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes. It will be sold at all Chaddsford Winery locations (including our Peddler's Village Tasting Room and Ardmore Farmer's Market Wine Shop) following the release party on April 3. It will also be available on line in April.

Father's Day Weekend

Treat dad, grandpa and all the fathers in the family to a wine tasting and tour through the Chaddsford cellars. Over the Father's Day weekend, all Dad's will receive a complimentary Chaddsford tasting glass and a free wine tasting at the winery. Bring a picnic and relax with a chilled bottle of wine on our beautiful outdoor deck, and treat dad to some bottles for his own wine cellar at home.

Sangria Sundays - Ole!
July 12, 19 & 26 ~ 12 to 5 pm

Glass of Sangria wine with sliced fruit.Put away the yardwork, gather a group of friends, pack a picnic lunch, and come enjoy these lazy hazy Sunday afternoons featuring live music "lite" on the outdoor deck and tastings of our cool and saucy summer Sangrias. Take home our favorite recipes for your own summer entertaining! Tours and tastings in the winery all day, outdoor music from 2-5 pm.
$10 Tasting/Sangria Fee

Recipe For Sangria Slushy:
1/2 bottle Chaddsford Sangri-La Sangria
12 oz. Lemonade concentrate
Combine ingredients in a blender. Fill the blender with ice and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
