Our Cool New Snow Bar Features Hot Mulled Wines!
If you like the après ski parties more than the actual skiing…you’re a candidate for our new outdoor “wine bar” featuring hot mulled Apple and Spiced Winter Wine by the glass. Beginning on Saturday, January 23rd (and extending through the end of March) the winery’s outdoor deck will be tented and heated and ready for you to “picnic” in the great outdoors. So get out your mittens and put on your adventurous spirit, invite some friends, and come enjoy our outdoor fire pit, the winter weather (dare we hope for beautiful white fluffy snow?) and some great wines!

“Cabin Fever” Wine & Cheese Tastings

Local cows and local wines -- what a great combo! During these “I have to get out of the house” dreary winter weekends, our wine educators will pair a variety of Chaddsford wines with a delicious assortment of locally made cheeses. Winemaker Eric Miller has personally selected some of his favorite Chester County cheeses like Birchrunville Blue and Calkins Creamery camembert-like Noble for these tastings. Come have fun in this group setting and see what great matches can be made with local wines & local cheeses! $20 per person, Reservations required at 610-388-6221, press zero to speak with winery staff.

February is the month of romance, so pick up your sweetie and indulge your love in decadent wine & chocolate tastings every weekend in February. Our team of wine educators will lead you through a sit-down tasting of premium Chaddsford wines paired with premium gourmet chocolates from Éclat Chocolate in West Chester. $25 per person. Barrels On The Brandywine

Join the eight wineries of the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail to peek at and preview the new 2009 vintage! This passport event gives you a chance to venture into our cellars, see the new developing wines firsthand, participate in pruning demonstrations, seminars, tastings, cellar tours and special events at each winery. Passports allow you to visit and taste at all eight wineries over the course of the whole month – no rush to get to them all in one weekend; passport cost: $25, available at Chaddsford Winery or thru the Wine Trail web site at www.bvwinetrail.com.
