Peddler's Village Events

In addition to events which are held at our winemaking and barrel aging facility in Chadds Ford, Chaddsford Winery also hosts events and tastings at our Wine Shop and Tasting Room in Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA, near the scenic village of New Hope in beautiful Bucks County. We invite you to join us for a tasting or wine class, or just for a glass of wine in our newly expanded and renovated Reserve Tasting Room.

When you visit, make sure to allow time to wander along the winding brick pathways through Peddler's Village, which is home to 70 specialty shops, six restaurants, a luxurious 70-room Inn, and the Giggleberry Fair family entertainment center. The village also has many wonderful festivals and events, which we have included below along with our own Chaddsford Winery events.

Spring Open House Weekends

Join us for the Grand Opening of our newly expanded Reserve Tasting & Event Room! Come see our new space that will offer sit-down Wine Flights and Wine by the Glass, plus room for private events and wine tastings. We'll be celebrating with wine and cheese tastings, samplings of our high-end Portfolio Collection wines, and the introduction of our 2007 Spring Wine, the first fresh young wine of the new vintage. Stop in for special discounts all weekend and a souvenir gift for all attendees!

All visitors are invited to enter our "Weekend at Peddler's Village Getaway" raffle, consisting of Dinner for Two at Earl's Prime restaurant, an overnight at the luxurious Golden Plough Inn, and Sunday Brunch at the Cock n' Bull Restaurant....plus other gifts from selected Peddler's Village merchants.

Spring Wine Party With The "WMMR ARMY"

We're planning a lively afternoon as the WMMR Army visits our Tasting Room to introduce and offer a tasting of 2006 "Pierreno Grigio" - a special cuvee made for WMMR celebrity Pierre Robert. Join in the fun with Pierre's wine fans and enter our "Pierreno" raffle to win an autographed bottle of Pierre's wine!

Art From The Bayou
During the month of May

Stop into our new Reserve Tasting Room where we will be hosting a very interesting art show. The BuxMont Katrina project is working with artists from Hancock County, LA to raise funds for the continued state of disrepair post-Katrina. They have juried 20 artists to show their work in Bucks County in the month of May, and Chaddsford Winery at Peddler's Village is one site where you can view their works. A portion of the sales will go to the project - so you get the satisfaction of helping out a very good cause...and enjoying some wonderful artwork while you sip wine!

Mother's Day Wine Weekend

Treat mom and grandma to a great day out with a wine tasting! Over the Mother's Day weekend, all Mom's visiting our Tasting Room will receive a complimentary Spring Wine glass and a free wine tasting....and our gift shop will be stocked with great Mother's Day gifts - everything from unique wine accessories to special Mother's Day gift baskets.

ROSÉ Release Weekend
May 17 & 18

We're planning a weekend-long celebration in honor of the introduction of Chaddsford Winery's first ever dry Rosè , a lovely light refreshing pink wine made in the style so prevalent in southern France and Europe. This fanciful dry Rose, made from the Chambourcin grape, is perfect for the upcoming picnic, outdoor season, for light lunches and leisurely sipping anytime. A very small first lot, so come and get it while it lasts!

Celebration Of Freedom

Stop in our store during the fourth annual Celebration of Freedom in Peddler's Village to sample wines and pick up a bottle for the celebration. The Village will be hosting events from 4-10 PM; fireworks start at 9:15.

Sangria Sundays - Ole!

If you can't go to the beach for the weekend, do the next best thing with a little summer sangria fun in our new Reserve Tasting Room. Gather some friends and come enjoy these lazy hazy summer Sundays featuring live music "lite" with a Spanish theme, tastings of our cool and saucy summer Sangrias, and our famous Sangria Slushies. Music from 1-4 PM; $10 tasting/Sangria fee. Take home recipes for your own summer parties!
