Chaddsford's Grape Growers: Family-Run Farms in Pennsylvania + New York
At Chaddsford Winery, we strive to use sustainable practices across every facet of our company including the exclusive use of regionally grown fruit to lower our carbon footprint.

Last year's harvest was no exception. During the 2020 vintage, approximately 64% of our grapes came from Pennsylvania family farms.

Of the Pennsylvania grapes, 42% came from Lake Erie growers including Arborhurst, Mobila, and Luke Vineyards. The remaining grapes came from our neighbors and dear friends, Historic Hopewell Vineyards, based in Chester County.

Grapes were also sourced from two New York family farms. 36% of last year's harvest came from Jim Bedient in the Finger Lakes and Johnson Estate in Lake Erie (5 mins from PA border).

Aside from grapes, we brought in 9,000 gallons of pressed apple juice from family-run Mayer Bros. in West Seneca, NY for our fan-favorite Spiced Apple wine!

Through the incredible work from our growers and cellar, we are able to move this vintage from the vines into our bottles. We're thrilled to share the 2020 vintage with you. Stay tuned for release dates!
