A valid photo ID is required to purchase or consume alcohol. You are welcome to bring outside food, but outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Parking is available in the field located behind the barn. Limited spots are also available in front of the Cottage lawn.
Advanced reservations are available for Table Service on Saturdays + Sundays. They are not required, but rather serve as an option to guarantee seating within our outdoor spaces.
Walk-In Seating is also available and provides access to select outdoor seating areas.
If you are a group of over 6 people visiting Mon.-Fri., please arrange your visit in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are a group over 6 people visiting Sat.-Sun., please take advantage of Walk-In Seating, or book a private space.
If you are a bus or limousine group, you are not permitted on Fri.-Sun. Bus and limousine groups are welcome Mon.-Thurs. only and must receive advanced approval from email@example.com.
Our wine tastings are delivered in the form of wine flights: 2-ounce servings of three different wines. Guests have the option to choose from a pre-selected menu or to build their own flight.
On Saturdays + Sundays, flights are only available when you book an advanced reservation for Table Service.

On-site bottle consumption is offered Monday-Friday, in addition to wine tasting flights and wine by the glass.
On Saturdays and Sundays, bottles will be available for to-go sale only and not permitted for onsite consumption. The majority of our portfolio is available to enjoy by the glass.
Due to a national staffing shortage in the hospitality industry, coupled with the large expansive nature of our property, it is not possible for our current team to effectively regulate the consumption of wine by the bottle. Therefore, wine will be sold by the glass only as a means of providing a more safe, orderly environment.
All orders are shipped via FedEx. A tracking number will be emailed after your order is fulfilled to give you a better idea of when to expect your delivery. Orders are shipped Mon.-Fri. from 10am-5pm in an effort to ensure wine quality in transit. There have been some minor delays due to overwhelming demands; please allow 5-7 business days to receive your order. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer the 1.5-liter bottles for sale on our website. We do not have packaging available to protect that size bottle during transit. If that ever changes, we will update our online store
We are unable to cancel or refund your order once it has shipped. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes.
All wine sales are final; no returns or exchanges. Unused/unworn merchandise may be returned within 30 days; please contact usto initiate your return.
Yes, all of our wines are both vegan and gluten-free!
While our Winery property sits on 5 scenic acres, our grapes are not grown on-site. Our “estate vines,” which include 100% of all our vinifera fruit, are through an exclusive partnership with Historic Hopewell Vineyards, located just 30 minutes from the Winery in Lower Oxford, PA. Additionally, Chaddsford works with a number of local growers throughout Pennsylvania and New York, many of which have supplied grapes to Winery for the last four decades. These growers helped make it possible for our Winery to establish roots in Southeastern Pennsylvania – prior to wine grapes really being grown here. Today, they still grow a good portion of our hybrid and sweet wine grapes.

At this time customers are not permitted to sit inside. You are welcome to sit at one of the many tables outside with your food and a glass of Chaddsford wine.
We do not have a sit-down restaurant, but food from the local restaurants in the village can be purchased and consumed at one of the tables outside. You may also purchase soft spread cheeses, crackers, other snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in our retail shop.
Yes! We offer all of our sweet and dry wines cold in to-go cups.
We also offer beer from Free Will Brewery and a small selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
Well-behaved pooches are allowed on the property and inside our retail shop. Dogs must be kept on non-retractable 6-foot leashes at all times, and you must clean up after your pet. Peddler’s Village is a dog-friendly destination.
Children and guests under 21 years of age are welcome on the property when accompanied and supervised by an adult.

The Reserve Club offers premium dry wines – many from our small-batch Artisan Series; whereas, the Traditional Club provides a variety of dry, off-dry, and sweet wines.

There is no long-term commitment! Your membership will remain active until you chose to cancel. You will receive a renewal notification email at the end of each, with the option to cancel.
Wine will be shipped directly to members’ residences. Please list an address where an adult (over 21 years old) will be available to sign for the delivery during normal weekday business hours.
Due to shipping restrictions, Delaware members must pick up at the main Winery location in Chadds Ford.
Wine will be released bi-annually. An approximate calendar is:
Spring Release – Available by March 15
Fall Release – Available by September 1

Private events can be booked for a minimum of two-hours, with a suggested start time of either 12PM or 3PM, during weekend hours (Fri-Sun). Customers can choose from a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, including, but not limited to:
The Cottage(with Tented Patio): up to 40 guests
The Wine Study: up to 40 guests
The Barrel Room: up to 30 guests (4-6 pm bookings only)
The Tasting Room: up to 20 guests
The Reserve Room: up to 15 guests
All spaces on the property include tables and chairs. We can also provide additional tables for food and gifts.
Outside food cannot be brought in. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
As of January of 2022, we work exclusively with J Scott Catering.
Your group is given access to the space 30 minutes before the start time. Please have your group pack up their belongings by the agreed-upon end time so that we may clean and sanitize the space.
No, the rental fee only covers exclusive access to the event space selected, along with tables, chairs, etc. All food and beverage selections are a la carte. Wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are priced by the bottle or case. To view our current offerings, please click here.
We’re happy to include a guided wine tasting as part of your experience, however, we do not recommend this for events such as bridal showers, where other activities typically take center-stage. Guided wine tastings are charged separately with cost contingent upon wines selected. Self-guided tasting (where a suggested combination of bottles are purchased) are typically easier for larger groups so they can sample at their leisure.
Chaddsford staff will equip your space with the beverages and glassware ordered for the event and then periodically check in on the group to ensure your needs are met. If you prefer to have a dedicated bartender for the duration of the event, one can be provided at an additional charge.
The rental fee for space is taxed; and all beverages are subject to a 6% sales tax. Gratuity is not included, nor billed. It’s at the discretion of the group!
Deposits will be refunded at 100% if requested 48 hours after booking. Deposits will be refunded at 50% if requested 30 days before the event. We will not issue refunds on any event canceled with less than 30 days notice.
Our event agreement includes a “force majeure” clause that protects you (and us!) from unforeseen events such as natural disasters or COVID. However, it is important to note that all events are rain or shine, and inclement weather does not typically qualify as an unforeseen event.
