Discover a different side of Chaddsford Winery during an evening of paranormal findings, conversation, and hands-on exploration with Phantom Detectives.

In April 2026, the Phantom Detectives team conducted a private paranormal investigation of our historic Vintner House and winery grounds. Now, they’re returning to share what they captured, including audio recordings, thermal and SLS camera images, and other findings from their visit.

Join founder Joshua Chaires, Lead Investigator/Psychic Medium Melissa Ferrazzano, and members of the investigation team for a presentation exploring their experience at the winery. Learn about their investigative methods, hear from the team, and bring your questions for an audience Q&A.

Following the presentation, get a closer look at paranormal investigation equipment and how it works, with opportunities to participate in demonstrations and a mini-investigation in the West Tank Room and picnic area near the Vintner House.

Uncork your curiosity with a paranormal talk, then treat yourself to seasonal bites and your favorite Chaddsford beverages, available for purchase throughout the evening.

Whether you’re a longtime paranormal enthusiast or simply curious, this free evening offers an opportunity to explore the winery through a new lens.

About Phantom Detectives

Phantom Detectives LLC is a Wilmington, Delaware-based paranormal investigation group founded by Joshua Chaires in 2020. Bringing together investigators with backgrounds in research, technology, and psychic mediumship, the team works with individuals and businesses experiencing reported paranormal activity. Chaires has investigated locations throughout the region, including Fort Mifflin, Pennhurst, Gettysburg, and the Chadds Ford Historical Society. He will be joined by Melissa Ferrazzano, the group’s Lead Investigator, Psychic Medium, and Case Manager, whose background includes training in psychic and advanced mediumship development.

      Program

      The evening begins at 6:00 PM in the West Tank Room with a presentation featuring findings from the team’s April investigation, followed by an audience Q&A. This portion of the program is expected to last approximately 90 minutes.

      Afterward, join the team for paranormal equipment demonstrations and a mini-investigation in the West Tank Room and picnic area near the Vintner House. The program concludes at 9:00 PM.

      Pricing & What's Included

      Admission is free, and no advance registration is required. Guests will enjoy the presentation, audience Q&A, paranormal equipment demonstrations, and opportunities to participate in a mini-investigation.

      Walk-ins are welcome, with limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from our limited Adult Trick or Treat menu.

      Adult Trick or Treat

       Make it a full evening at the winery by enjoying Adult Trick or Treat before the presentation. This immersive outdoor walking tour features five themed tasting stations with Chaddsford wines, seasonal treats, and a journey through time with the Ghost of the Grape.

      Adult Trick or Treat requires separate paid tickets and advance reservations. Guests planning to attend both programs should choose an earlier tour time and allow approximately one hour for the tour before the paranormal presentation begins at 6:00 PM.

      •  Please review our House Policies before attending this event. Guests under 21 years old are not permitted to attend. Please bring a valid physical ID.
      • No advance registration is required. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
      • The presentation will take place in the West Tank Room.
      • The mini-investigation will take place in designated areas of the West Tank Room and picnic area near the Vintner House.
      • Some investigation activities may involve walking outdoors. Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather
