We’re thrilled to share some exciting recognition: our 2023 Carbonic Cabernet Franc has been named one of the Top Ten Wines in Pennsylvania by the Sommelier Judgment of PA Wines, hosted by the Pennsylvania Winery Association!
This annual blind tasting event brings together some of the region’s most respected sommeliers and wine professionals to evaluate the very best wines produced across the state.
Our 2023 Carbonic Cabernet Franc is a bold yet fresh expression of this classic varietal: fruit-forward, vibrant, and bursting with character. We craft it using carbonic maceration, a winemaking technique that enhances the grape’s natural fruitiness and softens tannins, resulting in a wine that’s juicy, lively, and totally crushable.
While we don’t yet know our exact placement in the Top Ten, we’ll find out in October to coincide with Pennsylvania Wine Month.
