We’re thrilled to share that Michael O’Halloran has joined our leadership team as Managing Director of Hospitality & Operations.
With an MBA in Finance and Economics from Drexel University and over two decades of hospitality leadership, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Most recently, he served as a Multi-Unit Executive Chef in Philadelphia, where he became known for building high-performing teams and delivering excellence in every detail.
To help our community get to know him a little better, we sat down with Michael for a quick Q+A.
What’s the story of how you found your way to Chaddsford?
I almost think the job came to my attention by accident, as I have never worked at a winery, and I've never been a director of operations. But I got the chance to interview and speak with the Vintons, and my experience in the restaurant industry really seemed to be applicable to the goals for the development of Chaddsford, and thankfully, here I am.
You’ve spent a lot of time leading in Philly’s hospitality world… what’s one lesson from that chapter you’ll bring here?
Stay focused on the guests, make the guests experience the focal point of all decisions. If you do that consistently, everything else falls into place.
When you think about an amazing winery visit, what makes it memorable for you?
Beautiful surroundings, happy and friendly staff.
What’s one thing you’re excited to dive into in your first few months?
I arrived just in time for harvest, I can't believe I get to see that process from the inside.
