Chaddsford’s 2016 Sauvignon Blanc Rated 85 Points by Wine Enthusiast

Chaddsford Winery’s 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is featured in the November 2018 issue of Wine Enthusiast, receiving an 85-point rating.  This is the first review of a Chaddsford wine by the highly regarded publication since the 2009 vintage.

A regional twist on the classic White Bordeaux, the wine is composed of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sèmillion, grown exclusively at Historic Hopewell Vineyards in Chester County, PA – about 20 minutes from the Winery.

Wine Enthusiast’s Assistant Tasting Director, Fiona Adams, describes the wine as “very green, offering up eucalyptus, fresh garden herbs and lemon peel… with lots of grassiness straight through the finish.”
